Happy Thursday and welcome to 2014! :)
Hope everyone's New Years was awesome.
Here's my first post of the year.
I actually took these pictures last week (back in 2013 lol) so this is kind of a blast from the past :).
I was going on a date night with my fiance and I wore a comfy chic outfit. I normally don't like to take my blog post pictures at night; I prefer day lighting but I wanted to share these outfit details with you guys.
I wore these oxblood color jeans from H&M, which I've gotten lots of use out of during this Fall and Winter season. I feel like they can be dressed up or down. I love versatile pieces! I paired it with a sheer teal blouse. I love the detailed faux leather trim around the collar and buttons because it brings a plain blouse to life! I added a faux fur vest from H&M that I can't get enough of. I feel like this vest is a perfect finishing touch to an outfit. It was a little pricey but it was money well spent because it can be used with many outfits and I feel like I've gotten my money's worth already.
Of course, my favorite parts of every outfit are the shoes and purse! With that said...
I got these wedge booties in a random boutique in New York for 20$. What a score! I'm all about the details on an item and the gold trim and buckle sold me. Plus they are very comfortable, which is always a big plus. I finished off the look with a playful fringe handbag.

Purse - Mandee
Shoes - (A New York boutique) - same ones in black at Joyce Leslie (in store only)
I'm wishing everyone a healthy and joyous 2014.
There's a snow storm heading our way :(, and I'm not looking forward to the snow again.
Stay warm and safe guys.
xoxoxo
