Getting Edgy

Happy hump day!

Hang in there because we are almost close to the weekend.

I wanted to give you guys a different look, I was going for the edgy side of me, which I feel I haven't shown you yet.

Lets get to today's details.

I recently purchased this faux leather skirt on sale for $13! What a score, huh? I was very hesitant to try a skirt with a asymmetrical cut in the front but I decided to give it a try. The zipper detailing is what really made the skirt stand out to me. It gave it a very edgy and chic look. I was going to pair it with a floral top and some pumps to give the outfit a girly vibe but I wanted to go for the edgy look instead. That just goes to show you how versatile this skirt is. You can dress it up or dress it down. I ended up pairing it with a comfy sweater that had a plaid design in the front. If you guys have been keeping up with my blog you know how much I love plaid prints! The sweater was another score off the sales rack at Love Culture for $9.99. Top and skirt for under $25? I think that's a great bargain!

For the finishing touches to this outfit, I added a red clutch and my favorite black booties. I wanted to keep the accessories to a minimum because of the accents on the skirts. Of course, I can't forget a bold red lip. I live for red lipsticks lol, but it adds the perfect finishing touch to an outfit.
