Can't believe June is here and summer officially will be here in just a few weeks. yeah!!
Here's a few new products I picked up that I wanted to share. Now that the summer is approaching and the weather gets hotter, I like to change up the products I use on my face.
Flat top Kabuki Foundation Brush
I LOVE this foundation brush. It's my most recent purchase off Amazon. I was originally browsing for lipsticks and came across this brush. I read the reviews and they were all good so I said "let me try it." It was originally $34 and it was on sale for $11.97. I love the even finish and how it applies your foundation very smoothly. This is an amazing brush!
Foundation: Nars- Sheer Matte Med/Dark and L'oreal Ture Match
Let' s talk foundation. I like to change up my foundation in terms of coverage and color for the summer. I picked up this NARS one in Sephora. It was $45, which is a little more pricy than the other foundations I've used. I had a gift card and I knew I wanted to try a new non-drug store foundation so that was my chance. This one is a sheer matte finish, but still gives good coverage with a good primer together. I always opt for the matte finishes because I have super oily skin.
I picked up this L'oreal true match after seeing a lot of people talk about it. It's super consistent and the color works perfect for the summer. It gives me a glowy tan look.
NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray
One habit I'm trying to get into is using a finishing spray when I'm done with my makeup. This is the best way to make it last all day long, especially during the long hot summer days that are upon us. This one I picked up at Harmons for 6 bucks.
The Balm: How 'bout them Apples (color Pie)
I'm subscribed to Birchbox; for $10 a month I get a cute box full of makeup stuff and samples. I got this blush in my last month's box. I've been using this blush all the time because it's such a pretty rosy color on my cheeks. I definitely want to buy more colors of this brand.

NYX Black Label- 101 Hot Pink
I always save the best for last; my favorite,, the lipsticks! A few posts back I told you guys I discovered I was allergic to MAC lipsticks. I was on the hunt for a good dupe to the "Candy Yum Yum" I had to give away. :( It was my favorite pink. So, I did a little bit of research and came across these on Amazon. I feel the NYX one is the closest to the "Candy Yum Yum", even if it's more creamy than matte. Another MAC favorite of mine is "Heroine" and I found the perfect dupe for it from Maybelline. That one is very pigmented and creamy.
