When in Doubt... Wear a Maxi

When in doubt ... wear a maxi. 

It's seriously maxi season because they are just so practical and versatile. 

I fell in love with this little gazebo overlooking the water in Antigua and I just had to take pictures here. It was the perfect background for this tropical maxi dress. I shot this look on our last day there and man was it hot! Just looking at these pictures makes me feel like I'm right there feeling the warm sun and smelling the salty water. 

On to this outfit; I fell in love with this maxi dress when I had first seen it. I love the tropical prints on it. It's perfect to pack in your luggage for a vacation. I love the gold chain details on the straps towards the back because it gives the maxi a little chic look. You can't see it in the pics, but I have on wedges. This is one of my maxi's I have to dress up a bit since I can only wear them with wedges or shoes because with flats it drags a bit on the floor. (#Shortgirlproblems). 

To finish the look I wore mirrored aviators, a pink lip and this funky pineapple hairdo I tried. If you follow me on Instagram you can see I cut my hair into a short bob, so I can't try this hairdo again lol. I've always seen people try the "pineapple" hairdo so I decided to give it a try. What do you guys think of this funky hair do?
