Pink for Valentine's Day

 

Happy Humpday!

Hope everyone on the east coast stayed safe and warm with the snowfall we got yesterday.

 

"On Wednesday's? We wear pink".

I can quote the movie Mean Girls all day. It's one of the funniest movies and I don't get tired of watching it. 

This cute pink blazer not only reminds me of Mean Girls but also reminds me of a cute Valentine's day look. This blazer is one of my favs because it's my favorite color and because it gives the perfect finishing touch to an outfit. It's so bright and bold. I can probably signal a plane with it. Lol. 

I'm not really big on celebrating Valentine's Day because every day should be Valentines Day. You should really celebrate love all year round. However, if you're going out even for a quick dinner or out with your girls you can still put together a effortless outfit and still look chic without trying too much. A blazer is always the glue to outfits like that, and a hot pink one like this one can really do the trick. I kept the looked casual with some faded jeans and classic black pumps. Btw, these babies are super comfy. Lastly, I added this houndstooth print scarf for a fun print.

 Valentine's Day this year is on my 8 month-aversary of marriage so I will be going out to celebrate that with hubby. Can't believe we are almost at our 1 year anniversary of being married! Time flies when you're having fun.
