Better sore than sorry!
Hi guys!
I love to workout!
For me working out is not something I have to do but more of something I love to do. It's very therapeutic and I love seeing results. Before I moved into my new apartment I use to go to my near by gym at least 3 times a week. I use to do 30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical machine and 30 minutes of various exercise. During my wedding process last year the gym was my second home. lol I just kept thinking about my dress and how I had to look great in it. Yeah I was a psycho bride. After my wedding past I kind of gave my self a break during last summer and I told myself I would pick back up at the gym after the summer. Well summer ended, then I told myself I'll just wait until the holidays past. Then after that in January me and my husband were planning our move to our new apartment so I just didn't have time.
Once we moved my gym just seemed too far from my new place so I decided to just do at home workouts. Our new apartment is bigger and I have the space for some workout stuff. I recently went to Walmart and bought weights, a yoga mat and workout videos and created a workout schedule for me an my cousin, my new workout buddy since we live close now. Working out with a buddy is always better because we get to push each other.
The Jillian Michaels workout videos are no joke! We are on day 2 of her 30 Day Shred video and we just feel like dying. Lol. If you're going to give working out at home a try I totally recommend her videos and best of all they are only $8 at Walmart.
If you follow me on Instagram you have probably seen some of my yummy food post. I don't like to follow a strict diet but just eat clean and make better eating decisions. I do always have my cheat days where I indulge in probably a full box of double stuffed white Oreos (yeah that happened once!) but that's totally necessary mentally. I just make sure to work extra hard the next day to burn of the box of Oreos! Haha.
