Different Ways to Reuse A Maxi Dress

Have you ever had an old item in your kloset you just didn't know why you still had it but couldn't part ways with it? Well, that's the case for this maxi dress and me. I've had this maxi dress for a very long time and knew I should of parted ways with it a long time ago. I haven't worn it in a while but I love the mustard color so much, I just didn't want to part ways with it. I got a little creative with it and gave it a little twist. Get creative and find different ways to reuse old pieces so you can get more out of your wardrobe.

Since the maxi dress is strapless it was very easy to convert it into a maxi skirt. I just folded down the top part to my mid section and added a top over it. This grey lace up tank was a perfect contrast against the vibrant mustard hue. To create some dimension to my waist I added a skinny belt and just tied it around. A large belt would also work well.
