It's no surprise that plaid is a very popular print that's associated with fall and it's also no surprise that I love wearing it a lot. I wanted to style a plaid outfit but wanted to give it a different spin. I love mixing different elements together and decided to pair this plaid shirt 90s style around the waist with these fringe booties.
Outfit Details:
Top & Jeans: H&M | Purse: Forever21 | Plaid shirt: Charlotte Russe | Booties: GoJane | Sunglasses: Sunglassspot (here)
I've had these fringe booties for a while but just didn't know how I wanted to style them. I hate when that happens to me, when I love something so much but I get stuck on styling it. I personally love fringe on boots and purses. I think it adds a nice element and gives an instant style statement to any outfit. It might be the little kid in me but when I wear fringe it makes me want to do a little 1920s flapper girl dance to see the fringe move. Lol.
I wore an all black base and added the plaid shirt around the waist for a nice pop to the outfit. I've notice lately I been incorporating a lot of black into my wardrobe as well as solid basic colors. I love to see my style evolve and change and I think that's a good thing. Now I see myself pulling out basic colors and basic pieces a lot. Do you guys feel like your style changes?
