TGIF guys! Next week is the official first day of spring and even though the temperatures on the East Coast don't want to give us spring then I guess I'll just have to bring spring to the blog. This was another look I shot inside the National Gallery of Art (you can see the other one here). Such a beautiful museum and perfect for pictures.
Outfit Details:
Skirt: (old) | Sweater: Forever21 | Shoes: Charlotte Russe | Purse: BCBG
The metallic pleated skirt trend came along at the beginning of the year, which was not to long ago. I've always loved pleated skirts because they are so feminine but can still be dressed up or down. I've had this pink midi length one for a very long time. I actually don't even remember where I purchased it from but I'm glad I kept it. I'm so happy a lot of old trends seem to keep coming back and pleated skirts are one of them. I paired this one with a light knitted sweater and some open toe ankle strap heels. When the weather transitions and it starts to get warmer (hopefully soon) I love to wear simple pieces I don't have to fuss with too much. The last edition to this look was my current favorite bag. Yes I'm wearing it again. Sorry not sorry!
Do you guys like pleated skirts as much as me?
I'm keeping today's post short and sweet and I hope you guys liked these pictures at the NGOA. As much as I love street style shots I wanted to try something different. I hope to do more looks in museums this summer.
