A couple of weekends ago I had the pleasure of attending an intimate event in the house of Peruvian American designer, Evelyn Brooks with a few other bloggers. I spoken about her before but if you are new here, I wore some of her jewelry for New York Fashion Week this year. You can see those

posts here and here. I love her jewelry because they are statement pieces for sure and that's exactly what I was looking for in my NYFW looks.

I love supporting fellow Latina girl bosses. She is the founder of the first Peruvian- inspired jeweler company outside of Peru that has been trendsetting. Her collections are eco-friendly and made up of natural seeds from the Peruvian Amazon which is pretty cool. She greeted us with light bites and drinks and we got to see her beautiful collection. We also go to see her beautiful house, talk about backyard goals! I had so much fun with fellow bloggers Marisol and Nuria. We also got to take home some goodies. Thank you Evelyn!
