Closing out the week with my last NYFW post! On Day 7 the last show to officially close fashion week in New York was Irina Vitjaz. It felt so great to attend one of the first shows and the last show.
Attending a full week of NYFW has always been a dream of mine and it felt so great to accomplish that. I saved my favorite look for last with this grey metallic pleated skirt that was flowing down the streets of New York. I know I had to improvise on a lot of outfits that week due to weather but this look I said I was wearing for the last day no matter what kind of weather NY had for me. LOL. Luckily, I was fortunate to have great weather on that last day.
I paired the skirt with a crop top turtleneck and my favorite moto jacket. To add a feminine vibe to the look I added a faux fur stole around the neckline to the jacket. The stole is detachable and it originally came with the jacket. I love it because it gives the outfit a completely different look with just a minor detail. The cherry on top to the look was this gorgeous statement necklace from Evelyn Brooks Designs. I wore another one of her pieces on Day 4 (here). Her designs are super bold and unique. Definitely what I was going for in my fashion week looks.
Outfit Details:
Skirt: H&M | Top: Buffalo Exchange | Moto: Forever21 | Shoes: Sam & Libby via Target | Necklace: c/o Evelyn Brooks Designs | Purse: Forever21
The Russian born Austrian designer Irina Vitjaz truly wowed everyone with the gorgeous gowns of the night. The collection had a mix of colors and silhouettes. She definitely gave a twist to a traditional ball gown and had some eye-catching shine to many of the looks. The majority of the silhouettes had a lot of volume and I loved how all the models had their hair in soft curls to match the looks. The show closer was a gorgeous bridal gown that had clean feminine cut. It had a sheer long sleeve top with dainty beading all over the gown. I wonder if my husband would want to get married again just so I can wear that beauty from the collection! I can definitely say she ended NYFW with a bang! Here are some of my favorite looks from the beautiful collection.
