Day 4: NYFW S/S 18 | Dan Liu

Day 4 was one of my favorite days because it included a lot of my favorite shows, I wore one of my favorite looks and I was reunited with my favorite D.C. blogger babes. I had 3 shows for Day 4 and today I'm starting with my favorite Dan Liu but first, let's talk about my look. I had received this fringe top a few weeks before leaving and I knew I wanted to wear it for NYFW and for one of my favorite days. I'm so in love with this top because of the fringe and the detailing all around. I think I can truthfully say I was doing boomerangs all day with this top. I paired it with a pair of capri pants from Zaful and I can't wait to wear it again this time showing off the ruffles around the waistline.

After the morning shows were over, my NYFW partner in crime Marisol and I met up with Sam and of course, we had to do a shoot. I love how our styles are so different but we always blend in well together in a picture. It's about to be a year since my amazing friendship that has gone beyond blogging with these ladies. It's very funny on how we all met. I attended my first blogger event since moving down here in the DMV area about a year ago and I remembered till this day I didn't want to go to the event because it was a little far from me. My husband insisted on me going and these two lovely ladies were at the event and we clicked from that day on.

The Show

Dan Liu has quickly become one of my favorite designers and shows. When I saw him for the first time in February I immediately fell in love with his designs and just the overall vibes of his show. This S/S 2018 collection was just gorgeous. It consisted if mainly dresses and every model wore peacock feathers which were pretty cool! The dresses were feminine and full of beautiful colors. My dream one day is to have Dan Liu dress me for one of his shows. I'm putting that out there into the universe! The final piece in all of his shows is always a show stopper. This time it was a hula hoop full of peacock feathers. Well done Dan Liu!
