Happy Monday, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm starting things off on the blog this week with a style post and I'm sharing the mother of all statement sleeves. I had so much fun shooting this look because I was literally just twirling and flapping my arms the whole shoot. Lol. People in the street were looking at me like a crazy girl but I honestly didn't care. When I ordered this top I really didn't know the sleeves were THAT big. The color, the cut, and those sleeves attracted me to this top. When I posted a picture of this look on Instagram so many of you loved this top. In fact, some people started calling me sleeve queen. Haha! I do have a love for strange big sleeves. I linked it for you guys in the outfit details section and it also comes in two other colors AND it's currently on sale.
The location was perfect for this look. Lately, I have been into dark moody filters and backgrounds for my pictures and this Georgetown location was perfect. I guess I go through phases with the mood of my feed and pictures. I would love your input, are you guys feeling the dark feed and dark pictures? I always appreciate your feedback. 😊

Haha thanks Susana! I'm so obsessed with these sleeves!
DeleteA friend of mine has a top like this. When we hung out, I thought "that's super cute. I should get one like that!" The only reservation I have with a trend like this is I wonder if it will go out of style in just a season or two. Who knows.
ReplyDeleteTrends do come and go but I feel the same trends always come back around. i think the trick with trends is getting a piece or two not like 100 of them and then you are stuck with it in your wardrobe if it's not tending anymore lol. :)
