I feel refreshed and ready to start the week! Over the weekend I took a much-needed break and did absolutely nothing but watch Netflix on the couch. It's crazy because it was Halloween weekend and my husband and I had plans to go out and get dressed up in costumes. For those that know me know I am Halloween obsessed but I had to listen to my body and it was telling me to stop.
By the way, is anybody watching the show Riverdale on CW? I started the show over the weekend and it's so good! I took a break from blog work, emails, and social media. The last two weeks were crazy work weeks on the blog and with the upcoming holiday season, it will get even busier. This was a much-needed break to recharge my batteries. So let's kick things off on the blog with a style post!


I feel like I say this about a lot of my looks BUT this is one of my favorite looks especially for fall. When I ordered this top with ruffled sleeves I kind of thought of pairing it together with a skirt but since I had only worn these pants once to NYFW (here) I wanted to style them again. I'm all about reusing the same pieces and they were the perfect match. Tucked in elevated the look a bit because the pants have a ruffled waistline. The metallic booties were the cherry on top to the look. I've styled them on the blog and Instagram a few times already and everyone just loves these boots. To think I was hesitant to order them. I can't wait to wear them for some holiday looks to share with you guys. This look is one of my favorites with all my favorite trends in one, gingham, ruffles and metallics.
