Here we are, guys! It is Thanksgiving week and the official start of the Holiday season. It is, also, almost the end of the year! Where has this year gone? 2017 has flown by and I cannot believe I am already chit chatting about Thanksgiving with you guys already.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to share with you guys some things I am grateful for. I would absolutely love it if you shared some of yours in the comments section below.
"Gratitude turns what we have into enough".
I opened up the post with this quote because I feel we can lose sight of what we have sometimes. The holiday season always reminds me of how lucky I am to have what I have. A family to celebrate the holidays with, a roof over my head, etc. I truly appreciate all those small things. So, here are 5 things I am thankful for!
1. Health
This one is so important to me. I thank God every day for my wellbeing, especially when there are many people out there fighting horrible diagnose. Some of my closest friends battle health concerns that I have fortunately never had to and, while that makes me sad, I definitely do not take for granted that I am healthy and wake up every day.
2. Husband
I don't mean to sound cliche but I often wonder how I got so lucky to have my husband. He's such an amazing supporter and loves me unconditionally. He has the biggest heart and is super motivating. I'm so grateful to have him in my corner.
3. Family
Now that my husband and I moved, we always go back home to New York during the holidays to spend it with our family. We both come from pretty big families that have meshed incredibly well, and I absolutely love that. When I see our families coming together to eat, drink, listen to music and having fun it really warms my heart. I can't imagine if I had to spend the holidays alone. The joy my family brings me is so heartwarming!
4. Dreams
I am so thankful I was able to turn my blog into a full-time job. This was never a part of the plan but I am so happy that I get to wake up every day to create content, work with brands I love and actually make a living out of it. Anything can change at any moment so I count my blessings every day and never take this dream for granted.
5. Turning 32
Holy crap I'll be 32 in about three weeks! Turning another year old is a blessing. Some people dread birthdays but I've learned to appreciate turning another year older and appreciate all the ups and the downs a year can bring.
