Today I'm celebrating turning 32! Whoohooo! When I say celebrate I mean taking the morning off from work watch my favorite movie, Fast 5 on the couch and possibly going out to dinner with my husband at night. When I woke up this morning I thought of all the times my birthday consisted of new outfits, club reservations, guest lists, and buying tons of alcohol bottles. It's funny to me how much you evolve in life as you get older. Don't get me wrong I'm not a grandma, I love going out occasionally but for this birthday all I really want to do is keep it low key.
I've always been one of those people who had their whole life planned out in their head and said by 30 I'll have a house, x amount of kids and this and that. I think over the years I've learned to not think that way life has a funny way of telling you to stop planning girl and start living. My husband always says to me everything will work out as it needs to be and I think I've applied that to life. There's no sense in thinking by 32 I should have done this or that because everything will happen as it should. I think that's one of the biggest life lessons I learned over the year.
Thank you for all the birthday wishes and thank you to everyone who said I don't look 32. You can thank my parent's good genes for that!
