Every Woman Needs A Little Black Dress

Ladies, you've all heard the expression every woman needs a little black dress in their wardrobe. I definitely agree with that saying because an LBD can go a long way. It's a versatile piece that works for pretty much any occasion. I recently received this lace bodycon dress from Shop Tobi and immediately fell in love with it. I love lace because it's so feminine and delicate. I love that this dress had lace all over the arms and back. I went for an all-black look with a pop of print on my coat and a pop of color with my all-time favorite red pumps.

Looking at this look makes me feel like I'm ready for Valentine's day. Hey, babe, I'm ready for my date! It does make a perfect Valentine's date night look but my V-day plans never consist of getting dressed up and going out to someplace fancy. My husband and I have a had a fun tradition we do every year since our first V-day together in 2012. I think that's when my husband realized how simple of a girl I am. We love to go to Chilli's or Friday's to eat and then followed by a movie. For a long time we would always watch a Nicholas Sparks love movie but since he stopped making movies we'll watch any category of movie and not just a love movie. This year 50 Shades Freed and Black Panther come out around V-day weekend and we want to see both so we'll be going to the movies twice that weekend. I love simple things like that and I love that we have made them our own tradition.
