First Post Of 2018

First and foremost I want to wish you guys a happy new year and I hope you've had a great start to 2018 already. This is my first post of the year and I'm happy to start writing and start sharing looks, life, and everything else in between with you guys. If you notice on my social media and the blog I took a much-needed break. The last two months of 2017 were extremely busy for me on the blog and I felt myself crashing so I knew around the holidays when I completed my deadlines I was going to take a break. I think from time to time it's good to take a social media break especially when your work revolves around it. 

I was only planning on taking the end of December off and getting back to it at the beginning of the new year but a lot has been going on in the Osorio household. My husband and I welcomed the new year with having emergency surgery on our puppy. He had 12 stones in his bladder and they had progressed to his urethra and making it difficult to pee and incredibly painful for him. For anyone who has had or has pets know what a crucial part of the family they can be. Brotis, our pup is a big part of our family! His surgery was successful and he's recovering very well. 

As for this look, it's something I shot in mid-December and I'm finally able to share now. I'm a huge fan of oversized coats and this one button checked print one from Zaful is going to be a favorite of mine this winter. The glasses and the boots gave the look such a retro vibe and I love it. I've also been wanting to add a red beret to my winter wardrobe. Hats are a huge part of keeping warm in the winter why not add a fun bright one!
