Another season of NYFW and this time I'm experiencing it with a little person inside me! I was really iffy on attending this season but I truly enjoy the madness of NYFW and since I was past my first trimester, I had the energy for it. Day 1 started off with Style Dimension at the Samsung building listening to designer Narciso Rodriguez. I love to hear designers or pretty much anyone in the business on how they started and what motivates them. Hearing people's stories motivates me. Being in the blogging business their can be so many ups and downs and when I hear inspirational stories it gives me such a high.
The first official runway show of the day was my favorite designers and shows, Pamella Rolland at Pier 59. Her collection is always feminine, sleek, and just plain gorgeous. This fall collection was full of sequins, monochrome, and gorgeous dresses. My favorite piece was a floor-length cashmere coat with a fur trim and a knee length dress. This monochrome look was my favorite! I love ready to wear collections from the runway and Pamella's collection always makes me want to have all her looks magically appear in my Kloset!
At night we made it to 42nd to catch a few shows at Cipriani. It was such a gorgeous space for a runway show. The collections from David Tupaz and Andre Emery were amazing to see. Below are a few of my favorite looks!

My looks for day 1 was comfy and casual. I think all my looks of the week were like that because I didn't pack any heels. I wanted to be as comfortable as possible this time around because of the nugget. For the morning panel, I wore a pair of track pants with red booties and a comfy sweater. My belly felt super comfy in those pants! For the second look, I wore a pink cowl neck sweater with an oversized coat and man did my belly showed with that look. I felt my stomach grew overnight because I don't remember my stomach that big at the beginning of the week. LOL!
That's a wrap on day 1! Stay tuned for more this week!
XO
