No laces, no problem. That seems to be my new motto since I hit my third trimester and can't tie my own shoes anymore. I've stocked up my closet with a few slip-on sneakers and been styling summer outfits with them. These metallic ones from Johnston & Murphy are my favs. They are super comfortable and super chic. My feet haven't swelled up yet so I still fit into sneakers. Not looking forward to that part of the pregnancy but for now, my sneakers will do!
Lately, I been looking for stretchy comfortable clothes and this midi skirt with this off the shoulder gingham top paired perfectly with my sneaks. It was a chic meets casual vibe. A lot of people have been asking me where do I get the energy to still want to get dressed being pregnant. All I can say is don't let social media fool you because yes there are days I don't want to wear makeup or get dressed. The days I do though I don't over complicated and just wear comfortable clothes. Being pregnant shouldn't stop you from doing certain things that make you happy. I love playing with makeup and I love dressing up especially shoes. I've just traded in a lot of my heels for more comfortable footwear and styled more relaxed looks. Just work with what you got!
