I think it's been about a month since my last blog post. Yikes! I missed you guys and I'm so excited to finally get back into the swing of things.
Today I'm bringing you my current beauty favorites. I feel like it's been forever since I've done a beauty post and I have some new beauty items I been obsessing over. You know the rule you can never have to many beauty products, right?!
Let's get started!
Let's start with some lippes! A couple of months ago I forced myself to cut back on buying lipsticks because I really am running out of space plus to force myself to use what I have but that lasted about a month (shame on me) and I recently purchased these three. The one on the far left is from Wet n' Wild #913C Sand Storm, I purchased at my local Walgreens for $2. Can't beat that! It gives off a nice nude color for caramel skin complexion. I been wearing this one almost everyday during the week for work on those days I don't want a bold color on my lip but don't want to leave the house without any lipstick on.
The one in the middle is from Forever21 Love & Beauty Pink Rose. I purchased a lipstick from Forever21 before and I really liked the quality and color so I gave this one a try. I was really drawn to the color, it's such a pretty coral pink for the summer.
The one on the right is from Milani #62 Matte Blissful, I purchased this one from Walmart. I went into to Walmart for shampoo and came out with a lipstick. That's a win win if you ask me. Lol. I don't think I have a baby chalky pink in my collection and Milani never disappoints so I had to take this baby home with me.
Let's move on to the face.
I recently purchased the L'oreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation. I heard a lot of people talking about this one and comparing it with the Maybelline Fit Me Matte foundation which is my holy grail foundation. I decided to give it a try and see if I like it better. I ended up loving it! It's light weight and most importantly for me it's awesome matte finish because I have super oily skin. I really recommend this one for oily skin and if you're looking for a nice matte finish. My color is #111. I picked this baby up at Harmon for $6.
Now let's talk about this baby size primer. I received this tiny baby in my Ipsy bag this month. It's the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. I been using it everyday since I got it and I love it. It came perfect timing because I was getting tired of the NYX primer I been using. I will be buying the full size because it works really well under my foundation.
I also recently purchased this natural bronzer from Rimmel #022 Sun Bronze. I was on the hunt for a new bronzer because I felt my old one just wasn't giving my the bronzy look on my cheekbones that I wanted. I came across this one at Harmon and I really really love it. It's a really good drugstore bronzer.
Lastly it's all about the eyes.
This Nude pallet from Maybelline is my everyday holy grail. It's been such a good purchase because it has great colors for day time and nice warm tones for a night time look. I've notice since I bought this pallet when I travel I carry less eye makeup because this pretty much has a good day and night look colors. They recently came out with a blushed nude color pallet and I think I will get that one as well. The colors are to die for.
The pink tapered blending brush is from Luxe #205. I got this one in my Ipsy bag last month and it does a great blending job. I definitely grab this baby first for a nice smoky look.
On my last trip to Harmon I came across this warm color eyeshadow quad from Elf #21622 Golden Goddess. Lately I been obsessing over Kathleen Lights Youtube videos and she does a lot of warm tone bronzy looks which I love. So this Elf quad was perfect for the looks I wanted to recreate.
Hope you guys enjoyed today's post!
