A Pop of Pink

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend, it was hot one over here.

Yup! It's that top again. If you stopped by the blog last week this shirt might look familiar to you. I really am in love with this top. It's so fresh for the summer with cute crochet and lace details. This time I paired it with a simple black midi skirt.
 I got this midi skirt a while back at Forever21 and it's been such a versatile piece in my Kloset. It pairs well to the office, a simple summer look, or even in the colder months with tights underneath. I definitely recommend a plain black midi skirt in your wardrobe, you can't go wrong with one.

I was going to keep the look very classic with a black and white combo but decided to add a pop of color with a bold pink cross body purse and a bold pink lip. I'm glad I gave it the pop of color it made the outfit more summery and added a nice element to it. I added minimal accessories and these black gladiator style sandals which have been on repeat as well.
