A Different Take On a Midi Skirt

Whenever I think of midi skirts I always think to pair them with feminine pieces like pumps, sandals or a crisp button down blouse. I decided to try something a little different and mix it with some edgy pieces. I got a little inspiration off Pinterest when I saw a midi skirt like this one paired with OTK boots. I gave it a try and ended up loving it. I added a crop top knitted sweater and a faux leather jacket. I actually shot this look before I bought my updated faux leather jacket from F21so I made this one work with the look. I swear this is one my oldest jackets ever, time to part ways with it. Lastly added a little pop of print with a leopard clutch. 

I really love the way my makeup came out this day. I love this shadow color from Colourpop and I love the name even more... "central perk". I usually go for a red lip but this subtle rusty pink is my current favorite.
