What I'm wearing:
One of the things I love about DC is the street art that's everywhere. They make the best backdrops especially when they have meaning to it. My husband came across this awesome street art and we just knew we had to shoot here. I love the encouraging words like "hope", "peace", and "love".
I had spring fever when I shot this look because it was a gorgeous 63 degrees day. I get all the feels when the weather feels like spring. I ditched the heels for a pair of comfy converse this time. These are one the few sneakers I own, and by few I mean two pairs. Lol. That always makes me laugh because in my high school days I only wore sneakers and probably owned 2 pair of heels. I guess life is just funny that way, huh?!
I wore my chucks with mini skirt and a light sweater. I love this sweater because although it's knitted it has breathable openings all over making it a perfect sweater for a spring transition. Wearing sneakers doesn't always have to be associated with a frumpy look or a gym look. You can totally dress up your sneakers by mixing them with feminine pieces. On another note, these sunnies have been on repeat lately. I went a little sunglass crazy over at Sunglass Spot!
