SWIMMIAMI 2017: Opening Night With Sports Illustrated

If you have been following me on social media recently, then you know I was in Miami all last week for SWIMMIAMI. I had a full week of babes in bikinis, big palm trees, and crazy humidity. I'm going to be recapping all the shows, outfits, and fun on here with you guys, and the recap begins today with the opening party I was invited to with Sports Illustrated. It was such a fun opening night; one of the best surprises was that I was dressed in all white with my partner in crime Marisol from Mari Estillo (you can catch her post here). It was only day one of my arrival in Miami and my hair could not bear the humidity so I had to bun it up. I usually hate my hair pulled back but I added accessories to my look, like these adorable tassel earrings from Mandees and these fun aviator shades from SunglassUp. I finished the look with a fun bamboo bag, which I found last minute before my trip. Don't you guys love finding last minute items?

The Runway Show

First things first...the show was amazing! I absolutely loved how playful all the models were walking down the runway and definitely loved that they were of all inclusive shapes and sizes. I think the model industry has come a really long way because it is great to see real women with curves and cellulite on their bodies on the runway. It is much more relatable to women than only showcasing our bodies bronzed and dolled up.
