Mondays: No Heels Required

Messy hair, flats, and a casual look pretty much sums up my Monday! Over the weekend I had a little getaway down by the beach in Maryland with some friends and it felt good to just relax so I'm dreading Monday. It's been a crazy couple of weeks with work and next month heading into NYFW will probably be even crazier. This relaxing weekend was exactly what I needed.

I'm not one to complain about Mondays but when it's after a weekend getaway, yes this Monday I'm running on a lot of caffeine to make it through the beginning of the week. If you followed my grams and Insta-stories over the weekend you saw my pretty pictures from Cambridge Maryland. My husband and I and some friends had a beach condo overlooking the bay. The weekend was also amazing because my cousin which joined us at the beach house was recently engaged and asked me to be her bridesmaid! I'm so excited, I haven't been a bridesmaid since I was probably fourteen. Lol. It's been a while. Let the team bride festivities begin!

Today's look is matching my mood, chilled and relax. I recently received this top from Rainbow and I love the off the shoulder (duh) with the sleeve details. It has ruffles and a bow. I paired it with a pair of black jeans. I feel like it's been a while since I've worn long pants. I guess all that will change since fall is around the corner. Instead of heels, I finished the look with these comfy tassel slip-ons. I also have these in nude which I pretty much wear all the time. Comfy flats ftw!
