If you have caught up with all my SWIMMIAMI posts then you know I had about five or six shows per day. If you read day three, you know I managed through that day with a migraine and I think that was my body telling me I was going into overdrive. Back to back shows, after parties to attend, outfit shootings and late night editing will do it to you. Don't get me wrong: I love what I do, and I love interacting with all of you every day, but it is important for everyone to make sure they practice self-care and find some much-needed rest and relaxation.
The day after SWIMMIAMI was over, we were invited by The Residence Inn by Marriott in Miami Beach to check out their hotel for a few days. This was the best time ever for my partners in crime Marisol and Mau and myself. We had so much fun and it was the perfect capper after all the madness of the shows. Keep on reading about my stay at this hotel because this one is a must if you are staying at South Beach!
Our room was a studio with two queen beds, a sofa, a balcony, and a full kitchen. The minute we saw that bed me and Marisol just went for it because we were so tired. I absolutely loved the hotel's eclectic decor and modern furniture; it honestly felt like the way I would decorate my apartment, and I always enjoy seeing hotels styled in ways I appreciate. The balcony was amazing and, if you followed our Insta-stories, the Chuchis had breakfast on the balcony daily while I chose to have breakfast in bed. Oh, did I mention breakfast was included!? I think that is always a plus when looking for hotels. It's a meal you do not have to spend money on or time looking for it. Breakfast being included means more time to enjoy yourself in the area. The room was super spacious and comfortable; after all, it was able to fit two female bloggers and a stylish photographer! Trust me, we do not pack light.
Location wise, the hotel was perfect because we were only a few blocks away from one of my favorite areas in South Beach, and that is Lincoln Road. There are so many shops and various restaurants. Just walking around Lincoln Road is great, and it is also a few blocks away from the beach so it is in the perfect location!
The hotel had a gorgeous pool on the roof with an insane view. It was a view I would honestly never get tired of. It overlooked a lot of the city and the sunsets up there were magical. Every day we were there we watched the sun go down while laying down in the cabanas. The swimming pool is really where we spent most of our time. We attempted riding floaties but if you visited my Kloset through my Insta-stories you absolutely know the deal with them. LOL. They are not as easy to ride as you see them in pictures. We really had so much fun attempting to ride them, especially the unicorn one that we named Gustavo. It was an epic fail!
The Residence Inn sure made us feel welcome and we were definitely well rested from SWIMMIAMI. If you are looking for more info on this hotel and more on my stay, feel free to message me on Instagram and I will be happy to answer them for you. Thank you Residence Inn for such a wonderful stay!
XO

DeleteI'm glad that you had someplace to rest and relax after those stressful days and migraines! It's no fun to feel icky while you're traveling, so having a comfortable hotel to stay in is super important. It does look like you made the best out of that trip though - and got some time in on the fun unicorn float. Love it!
